The MCG is rightly regarded as one of the best stadiums in the world. But how does it continue to produce such high-quality pitches, given that the venue is used for a myriad of different sports and events year-round? The Sledge traveled to the MCG to find out.

Jonathan Howcroft speaks to David Sandurski, the MCG’s Head Curator; Tony Gordon, the MCG’s Arena Operations Manager; and Emma Inglis, the VicSpirit Women’s T20 Captain.
